Serve Local: Loving Our City

We believe that following Jesus means joining in God's work of restoration right where we live. At Kairos, we don't just "do charity"—we build relationships. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we are proud to come alongside organizations already doing incredible work in Atlanta. We partner with them to love our neighbors, meet tangible needs, and learn from one another.

Friends of Refugees

We partner with Friends of Refugees to support families who are rebuilding their lives in Clarkston and the greater Atlanta area. Whether you want to empower youth or support a new mother, there are beautiful ways to build relationships here.

Youth Programs

Mentor students or help with tutoring during the school year and summer camps.

Embrace

Support and advocate for refugee women during pregnancy and early motherhood.

Job & Skills Training

Engage with the Refugee Sewing Society, Café Clarkston, or the StartME business accelerator.

Community Life

Join in playdates, community picnics, or the Community Garden.

Community Assistance Center (CAC)

Since 1987, the CAC has been a lifeline for our neighbors, providing food, clothing, and assistance with rent and utilities. We love partnering with the CAC because they focus on dignity and empowerment, working toward self-sufficiency through education and job tools.

Frontline Support

Staff the Food Pantry, Thrift Boutique, or reception desk (Mon–Fri, 10am–2pm).

Behind the Scenes

Assist with data entry, sorting donations, or picking up food.

Teaching

Lead adult education classes like ESOL or computer workshops.

Seasonal Events

Help with the School Supply drive, "Adopt-a-Family" for the holidays, or the "Food 'n Fun" challenge.

Sandy Springs Mission

We partner with Sandy Springs Mission to help and inspire students from the Sandy Springs community. A faith-based, 501(c) 3 community organization, Sandy Springs Mission provides year-round academic enrichment and spiritual development programs designed to transform the hearts and minds of students. This creates a lasting legacy for their families, too.

We believe education leads to new opportunities and hope for bright futures. Sandy Springs Mission exists to create a community where all Latino students graduate from high school empowered with the life skills necessary to make wise decisions in life. Whether they go on to college or directly to work, graduates of Sandy Springs Mission will be equipped with the tools they need to be successful.

Kairos members partner with Sandy Springs Mission through...

After-school Enrichment Program

Working with students to complete homework, eliminate academic gaps, and enhance learning through enriching activities.

Summer Camp

Helping 1st-8th graders sharpen their skills during the critical summer months through a three-week program of reading drills, math games, and language arts activities.

Mission Baseball

Helping students learn teamwork, skills, and cooperation by participating in sports coached by volunteers.

Serve Global: Loving Our World

Our call to love our neighbors doesn't stop at the city limits. We believe God is at work all over the world, and we consider it a privilege to join in that work. Through global partnerships, we offer our resources, send our people, and build cross-cultural relationships that reflect the global family of God.

Haiti Outreach Ministries

We invite you to join Christ where He is already at work. The mission of Haiti Outreach Ministries is to share the love of Jesus through evangelism, discipleship, and practical assistance in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

*Trips to Haiti are not currently scheduled due to unrest,  but hope to resume soon.

The Partnership

Kairos regularly sends teams from our community to work alongside our partners on the ground.

The Connection

These trips aren't just about projects; they are about people. Our teams spend intentional time building relationships with the students specifically sponsored by the Kairos community at the HOM School.

Saving Hearts Together

We believe every person deserves a safe, loving environment where they can heal and thrive. We partner with Saving Hearts Together to support their mission of restoring hope and providing tangible resources to communities facing deep physical and emotional challenges.

The Partnership

Kairos comes alongside Saving Hearts Together by offering strategic support, raising awareness, and mobilizing our community to ensure these vulnerable families are seen and cared for.

The Connection

For us, this isn't just about sending aid; it's about relational advocacy. We invite our church family to actively pray for, learn from, and connect with these global neighbors.
