Classrooms for our youngest children are located upstairs in the hallway to the left of the main church entrance. Children are assigned to groups based on their developmental stage until they reach age 2. They remain in the 2-year-old class until the September following their 3rd birthday. Children are engaged in developmentally appropriate discipleship experiences, beginning in the Infant room.

Our preschoolers meet downstairs in the kids’ wing (to the left of the main entrance). Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff use the First Look curriculum to engage our children in experiences which help them follow in the way of Jesus. Through large- and small-group experiences, preschoolers learn…

  1. God Made Me.
  2. God Loves Me.
  3. Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever.

Children are taught a new theme and memory verse every month, and parents receive weekly communication about the curriculum and other Kairos Kids happenings.

Elementary Students (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade)

Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade participate in the first part of the worship service with their parents before being dismissed for Kairos Kids, where children and their small group leaders use the 252 Basics curriculum to engage in experiences that help them follow in the way of Jesus. The three basic truths for elementary children:

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Students learn these truths via Scripture lessons that highlight a particular Life App each month. Parents are provided a weekly Parent CUE card to facilitate conversation between parents and children regarding the scripture and application.

Elementary Students (3rd – 5th grade)

Children in 3rd – 5th grade participate in Kairos Kids 345, a special time of discipleship and fellowship geared for this older elementary group, from 9:00am – 10:15am each Sunday morning before participating in the worship service with their families.

If you are new to Kairos, your first stop is the greeter desk just inside the church main entrance, where a greeter will help you register your children, provide a name tag sticker for each child and a parent security sticker for you, and help you settle your child(ren) in the appropriate rooms. When you return to pick-up your child, a volunteer or staff member will match the 3-digit code on your parent security sticker with your child’s name tag sticker before releasing the child.
